What does it mean for a personal brand to be a unified system? For founders, leaders, and creatives. How can I build a proactive personal brand?

Day 9 - Post series for all the founders, leaders, and creatives, working on building their personal brand: PERSONAL BRAND x UNIFIED SYSTEM ⤵️ 

The question I'm answering today is: what does it mean for a personal brand t o be a unified system?

If you follow me, you will probably see me use the term “unified system” a lot when it comes to branding. That’s because I believe this describes branding best. 

To me, a brand is a collection of a multitude of parts that all work together in synergy to form a complete whole. If built strategically, this will become a strong engine for your brand and business growth.  

🔵 How to think of a brand as a unified system?

➡️ connect the dots (think of all elements of your brand as a contributing factor to the whole - online/offline presence, PR, appearances, products, image, communication tone,…)

➡️ make it work as one (optimise each aspect in alignment with your brand DNA, and make it obvious that it all belongs under one roof)

➡️ constantly evolve (it doesn’t matter how big or how many moving parts your personal brand currently has, you’ve got to nurture all of them continually)

➡️ cross-connect (make sure that all elements cross-connect in a variety of ways - your LinkedIn can lead to your website, interviews, podcasts, research, products; and equally, your website can lead to a variety of different things)

✅ Think in systems, strategy, and structure. Your personal brand will be grateful. 

This will help you optimise it, make it work seamlessly, and it will establish the foundation to build upon momentum with ease.
