Brand as a Complex System. How to build your business for sustained growth momentum?

To me, a BRAND is a UNIFIED STRUCTURE, a COMPLEX SYSTEM combining all aspects of a business. Everything contributes to an overall brand perception & recognition, and as a consequence to business success. ⤵️

SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS & BRAND GROWTH?


You've got to start thinking differently about how you approach your branding. Instead of looking at each part separately, seeing them as isolated aspects, look at everything as an interlinked, interconnected, complex and "living", changing system.


➡️ What I mean by that:


1️⃣ -› The way you run your business operations and the way you create outputs is constantly changing. Every day represents new growth, new challenge, new opportunity for potential change - that needs to be your mindset.


2️⃣ -› Business is never stagnant, and brand building never stops. It's an ever-growing, evolving thing that needs to be continually nurtured as the world, society, cultures, and the way we think and exist in this world change.


3️⃣ -› The brand is not just your logo, visual appearance, design (at this point I think we are all becoming very aware of that) - the brand is reputation, essence, people's perception, values infused into each product, interaction with clients and community, your employees....


4️⃣ -› The more you can start seeing the brand as a complex system of all your business aspects, the more you will be able to approach it with clarity of how to make everything work together in synergy and with that drive better return on effort and investment, generate more impact, and achieve more success.


Don't separate the parts, but instead make them work as one.



🔵 EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED.

Great, smooth, successful business operations are a consequence of a great system and structure running it, with all parts being in harmony. The better the harmony and synergy, the better the success and the smoother the growth process.


🔵 THE SAME GOES FOR BRAND.

If you see a brand as a whole, as "everything we do, are, create, and output contributes to this entire thing called OUR BRAND" - then you are a few steps ahead of the game already. You think holistically, you work by adding structure to complexity, and the better the structure, the more connected the parts, the less effort it needs to push the whole thing forward to success.



So... this is me, this is my thinking, and this is my approach.

Brand = Business


I like to build towards legacy, towards long-term and sustained success, towards growth and ongoing momentum.


Rush strategy and hype campaigns are not my jam. I like to build for impact.
