"The brain processes emotional information 20% faster than rational information." (Source: Blogging Lift)
Can you tell that I am fascinated by us humans!?
Today's questions in focus:
How do super-fans form connections with a brand?
How can we create a strong emotional bond between a brand and a consumer?
How do emotions affect customer and fan loyalty?
How do emotions contribute to brand building and customer acquisition?
Now let's dive into tips on how to make people love your brand.
When we act on emotions, we will act much faster than on something that we are perceiving from a very rational perspective.
Talking about being emotional... 😀

This emphasises the importance of understanding consumer emotions, our emotional nature.
♦️ Think of super-fans, who stand in lines for hours, in whatever weather conditions, just to get the newest product or be the first to get into a venue to hear their favourite artist.
♦️ When you observe behaviours of those people, they share one thing: a SUPER DEEP emotional connection with the brand/person/company/product in question.
And if you would try to change that person's mind, you would have a very hard time doing so because they care so deeply about the brand.
🔴 UNLESS - something emotionally powerful would happen that would manage to change their mind. But again, the consumer needs to make up their mind on "their own" and change the narrative in their mind in order to change their preferences regarding certain brands.
🔴 For example: we grow out of trends and things because it's no longer "hip" or "popular", and so we don't want to feel embarrassed or like an outcast, so we naturally adopt the latest trends, brands, products,... just to feel a sense of belonging and connection.
❗ So, from a brand and business perspective, you can see how, as an executive/a brand owner, you need to make sure that your brand is relevant, desirable, that it speaks to certain communities and that it manages to establish strong loyalty.
It takes constant work, it takes listening to the culture and the ever-changing society.
With this in mind, any brand can be successful and have a strong and loyal customer base. All they need is to take good care of their people, build a strong foundation on which consumers can continue to connect to the brand, and the rest is history. Ha! (I wish it would be THIS simple) 😂
But, lighthearted nature aside, the above is true, but what is also true is that there are many other ingredients that we need to throw into the mix to continually build a strong brand and reputation.
Keep building and keep being great!!
