Is virality the best long-term career strategy for a music artist?

This is why virality, in my opinion, is NOT the best long-term career strategy for a MUSIC ARTIST... ⤵️

➡️ You place all your bets on one moment - but do you have an efficient fan acquisition funnel in place that will help you scale and create meaningful and profitable connections?

❓ Do you have fan touchpoints set up in a way that draws people in and makes them stay?

❓ Or is your mind solely focused on creating content that spikes and gives you an instant dopamine dose?

To me, building a sustainable career and business for an artist is much, MUCH more than that. You can SCALE FASTER and more effectively if you think in systems and interconnect various parts of an artist's brand.

That's what's going to build leverage in the long run, and as a consequence, start bringing in more income that can be used to re-invest into the project and scale further.

➡️ Most artists struggle with getting the project off the ground and making a living from it (it is the part that requires the most effort and mental toughness, to be honest, you've got to make yourself to keep going).

So why not start there and focus all your attention on building up a sustainable model that will keep expanding your artist business and set the foundation for a profitable future?

And that will not come just from a viral hype of one piece of content. It might be a great beginning, exposing you to new people, but how you make those people your long-term fans is a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY!

So, music industry, what's your take on this?

❓ What kind of value do you see in virality?

❓ And how do you build for a successful return on investment in the long run?

Let's start a conversation!

Is virality the best long-term career strategy for a music artist? How can an artist go viral? Is goig viral good startegy for a music artist and producer? How to develop a music artist? How to go viral as a music artist? How to develop and manage an artist project? How to develop an artist and producer brand?
