Designing a website on Wix? Here are a few key points to help you make a better design and optimise your brand.

I've just been working on a WEBSITE REDESIGN for a client (on Wix), and a few things came to mind that I felt would be valuable for anyone building their online presence and designing a website on Wix or anyone else for that fact ⤵️

1️⃣ - Have a goal in mind:

What's the objective: what do you want to achieve with your website, are you after newsletter signups, better sales, "world-building", showcasing your projects,...?

Once you determine your goals, you'll be able to make more focused decisions when it comes to a design that serves your needs.

Instead of "just redesigning the website", you will actually create a valuable brand asset that will help you scale your business.

2️⃣ - How does your audience access your website:

You've got to look at the analytics. Let the numbers tell you how people access your site and what they are most interested in.

Do they visit via phone or via computer? This is really important because it will determine how you optimise the site for each device, to create a great user experience and still be aligned with your brand.

3️⃣ - Determine your key brand pillars:

This will help you know where your brand stands. Based on this information, you will be able to choose a design that best represents the way you wish to appear online and the things you wish to convey to your audiences.

Having a website that truly reflects your position within the market will be key.

🔵 That said, make sure that you continually refresh and optimise your website so it's in alignment with all other aspects of your brand.

🔵 A consistent and synergised feel of your brand across all elements and touchpoints will be key in driving more trust and better audience interaction as well as loyalty.
